-Tenshi: Shy and quiet, Tenshi is a people-pleaser. He’s sweet, and more gentle. He gets upset somewhat easily, and dislikes upsetting his sire. He, however, is also the more intelligent of the twins. 
-Tenkei: Bold, even to his own detriment, Tenkei is fiercely protective of his twin and his sire. He speaks out of turn much more often than Tenshi, and is usually the pursuer in he and his brother’s advances for their shared meals and/or other type of prey. 
Background: The twins were human when Leonis found them. They had killed their own parents, who had tried to sell the boys into slavery, and he found their devotion to each other as well as natural survival instincts intriguing. Leo intended to raise them as his proteges, and they were all extremely close. Unfortunately, after only 6 months together, the twins were stolen from him. Leo searched for them 100 years to the day before giving up on them.

The twins were taken by a succubus, but, as she was unaware of their own supernatural existence, she underestimated them. Pretending to be swayed by her, they killed her and took her power into themselves. Unfortunately, they were trapped in another realm, and it took them far too long to find their way out for their own tastes.

Believing their master dead (His home where they’d all lived together had been destroyed by Vampire hunters), the twins set out on their own.

Only last year did they meet their Sire again. They are still vastly independent, but seek his advice in all major things, and often bring him “blood dolls” as gifts.

Personality: Trystan tends to find trends and attach himself to them. He’s flaky and refuses to grow up, the eternal child. Bratty and a bit selfish, his primary concern is the “right now”, and he doesn’t always plan things out. For example, when “Twilight” first came out, he wore glitter on his skin and called himself “Edward”, showing off his fangs.
Background: Trystan is the last of three Childer that Leonis has made, and his most regretted. He looks up to Leonis, a little jealous of his closeness and former relationship with Valen, as well as how close the pair are to Jael. He finds Addison fascinating (Addison can’t stand him, though). Leo made him in an attempt to turn over a new leaf, but Trystan went from being a humble young man to a continuous child.  He’s never really been in love, though he highly romanticizes the idea. So far, however, he’s terrible at commitment.

Appearance:  His eyes are both metallic tinged, with cat-like pupils. One is green and the other is golden. he has a long prehensile tail with a spaded end, and diamond-sharp fingernails, with a curved-point. 5’5” tall, but he tends to wear high-heeled boots, making him as tall as 6’ if they’re platforms too.

Background: Rei is the Ruling Prince of the Daemons. However, he frequently likes to visit Earth. He’s never bothered with love, and instead prefers brief relations to have sex and the like.  He’s never had a REAL relationship at all.

Personality: Addison takes pride in his appearance. His voice is somewhere between male and female, and, no matter what he wears, often leaves people questioning his gender. He either likes you or he doesn’t, and tends to be a little motherly. 
Background: Addison was a twin. As this is not permitted in Fae society, he was given to a Fae research facility. The Fae have always been far ahead of humans in technology, blending their own magics with science to create new things. As a result, Addison has a titanium skeleton, and his blood is infused with nanomachines (amongst other things).

He escaped the facility and has been on Earth since he was 12. He began to work as an assassin at 15. He takes only the jobs he wants, and laughs when people try to kill him. Between using Fae magic (though he HATES the fae, he’ll use the magic if he must), and the nanomachines, he’s nearly impossible to kill. Temporarily disabling him, however, sometimes works, though the means of doing so are complicated.

Someone once decapitated Addison. The nanomachines immediately stopped the bleeding and kept the communication between head and body. He picked up his head and carried it to the first place he reached, a bar, asking for a needle and thread to sew his head back on.

Extreme cold, however, makes Addison stiffen up and slow down. he also finds it painful. He tries to stay in warm climates, and when he works in cold ones, he stays as bundled up as possible.

He also can “overuse” his power, causing a temporary inner-systems glitch, which makes him passout on the spot.

Appearance: Raeysh sleeps in hybrid form, it’s his natural state, though he can shift anywhere from all the way human to all the way Fox. His form is that of a Red Fox with a black-tipped tail. Otherwise, he has long red hair and Emerald-green eyes, and is 6’2” tall

Personality: A bit cocky and obnoxious, loud, but sweet in his own way. Terrible speech laden with slang.
Background: Rae is assigned to track Addison, a very powerful assassin. Before that, he was one of the initial members of a CIA joint task force that tracks important supernaturals, amongst other things. He was living with a pack of foxes when he was found by a hunter (who proceeded to kill the rest of the foxes there. He was only spared because he sleeps in hybrid form). He was turned over to the Government, who hired (and tried to educate) him.
Occupation: CIA Special Agent.

Appearance: 5’5”, Black and white feathered wings, which he can hide. They turn Red when he’s upset, as does his hair and eyes.

Background: He knows Valen and Leonis, this much is certain. He does not speak of much else, except to say that humans usually misinterpret Heaven and the Angels, and that part of his duty is to right that.

Personality: Very polite, a smooth talker who always finds a way to get what he wants. He need not raise is voice to put fear into people. He takes pride in his appearance, and is quick to rebuke mistakes. 
Background: Once a Feral Vampire, he met Valen about 1000 years ago, and they became friends. Valen’s influence calmed him, and he became what he is today. The pair are extremely close, and people often mistake them for a couple when they spend time together. Before Leo met Valen, he was called “Deadly Sakura Leo”, as he used to sharpen pieces of cherry trees when he was living in Japan, jamming them into the bites his left, as well as Cherry Blossoms. He still has a fixation with cherries and cherry trees.
Occupation: Enjoying Life. Running the “Supernatural Scene” in Seattle and controlling most of the Northwest United States, as far as Supernaturals, anyway

Appearance: 5’9” tall, his eyes are actually liquid-silver, like a light mercury, with no pupils at all. he has Ebony-black Ram’s horns in human form, and a long red and black tail with a hard, round knob on the end.

Personality: For the most part, Valen is kind, or at least he appears to be. He has a job to do, and rarely lets anything else interfere with that. If he is in love, this is the only thing that will deter him from his “calling.” Once he falls in love, there is nothing that will come between him and his lover.
Background: Valen’s entire immediate family was wiped out by a Vampire bounty hunter, who sought fame in taking out a Noble Dragon’s family.  Only Valen was spared, saved by Final Fire of his family members. Though only a half-breed, he still holds noble title back home, amongst dragon-kind, but this had to be earned. He fought through madness to become what he is now.
Occupation: Vengeance “Demon”. “There is a difference between Revenge and Vengeance. Revenge is messy and thoughtless, Vengeance provides balance.  Let me show you balance.”

Sierra had gone out to the falls early in the morning, a needed meditation in a place she could block out her visions and simply calm her mind.  She had left a note, leaving Tyr and Eretemis slumbering in the gigantic nest of a hammock that took up a corner of the cabin.

When the over-sized wolf and Eerie woke later in the morning, they found breakfast set out for each of them, as well as Sierra’s note as to where she’d gone. Each filled their bellies with a hearty meal, and then the pixie moved to sit by the window with his tea, watching the woods through the glass. To a human, the forest would seem quiet and still, but to him, and to Tyr who followed after a time and placed his large head upon tan thighs, she was never quiet.  

As they often did without Sierra’s presence, Tyr and Eretemis spent much of the morning in silence, save for occasional laughter at the jokes the songbirds sang each-other among the trees.

It was only as the day grew hot that they realized Sierra had been gone far too long. 

I will race you there… Tyr teased, nudging the door handle with his nose and then his massive paw.

“No way. I remember last time. You have four legs, I have two.” Eretemis tugged on one of Tyr’s ears to pull him back from the door, then opened it himself, pushing past Sierra’s beast of a companion.

Then I will carry you! A grin, the wolf baring his teeth, then he took a firm hold on Eerie’s arm, just enough to keep hold without breaking the skin.  A swift tug of his head and the right movement of his frame flung the pixie over his back, and he was off full-pace through the forest.

“You stupid dog! Put me down!” He shouted, though he could not hide the laughter in his voice.  Tyr only sped up in response, charging through the trees as Eretemis turned on his back to face forward and clutched handfuls of black fur.

As they reached the pool at the bottom of the falls, Tyr planted all four feet and stopped, sending Eerie flying into the water with a great splash, and startling Sierra who sat meditating in a wide alcove behind the falls.

“What are you two doing?” she demanded, rising from her position with hands upon her hips as Eretemis broke the crystalline water’s surface.

We were worried. 

“You were gone too long. Also, Tyr was being a menace.”

“As if you are not a menace yourself! The both of you, coming up here and disturbing my meditation…” she was interrupted by the gurgle of her stomach, and Eerie smirked in response. 

“It is nearly evening, and your note said you would only be gone a few hours.” wading through the water, he made his way to the alcove behind the falls and lifting himself up.  Tyr let them be, laying down upon the shore as they spoke with one another, their voices lowering now that they need not shout over the falls.

“Are you alright?” Eretemis asked, offering a slight smile as he pulled her into a loose embrace.

“I… no. I cannot lie to you.  Sometimes, Eerie, it feels like I help everyone else find their place… that all I can do is see.  But I can’t see anything for me. Can’t see where I belong… I don’t even know.” The seeress sighed, leaning against her friend’s chest and closing her eyes.

“Silly, you belong right here, in my arms.” A broader smile from the pixie, and he gave her a squeeze, resting his head atop hers.

“You… are the sweetest… cheesiest man alive.” she smiled though, she could not help but to do so.  How was it that a few simple words from him could melt so many of her anxieties away?

“Mn, well you wouldn’t have me any other way, would you?”

This Was Once a Love Poem

This was once a love poem
Words to a lovely song
Now it tells of death tolls
And the notes all come out wrong

Blood covered Valen like it was a second skin. He wore no armor, no leathers, simply the trousers he tended to stick to and little else. Even his feet were bare, unprotected in this battle, this endeavor. “The world has been balanced again, by my hand…” he growled, liquid-silver eyes cast down upon the lovers before him.  

Rather, he looked upon what was left of them. Their faces were destroyed, once perfect, flawless faces, compared to angels. And eye hung from it’s socket here, and an ear torn away there.

“Vanity should not go unpunished when it leads you to destroy others. You wanted so badly to see no couple more lovely than you, that you would destroy and scar their faces. And now here you are, likely the most hideous couple in the land.”He chuckled, then, ignoring the pleas that he heal them restore them, as dragons were known to be able to do.

“I will do you one simple courtesy.  If how you look is so important to you, than for every bit of damage you cause your lover, you will start to heal. You cannot kill them, though, or you will embrace their death as well.” Laughing softly to himself, he touched each of their heads, and spoke soft in the language of dragons. He knew they would spend the rest of their lives injuring each other, for they were vain creatures who would never change. And so they would suffer for it, for as long as they lived, until death carried them away together.
